Black 8 reg BLKRX8 at my local gym in Bay St Melbourne this evening. Ordered his car 6 months prior to launch and went on the test drive day pre launch

 

I have seen that guy a few times at South Melbourne... I did not meet him at Calder since I was away. I went to Adelaide instead. He seems to live in Southbank (the Summit)... certainly there is a black one there!

 

Spotted a Ti 8 gunning it hammer and tongs vs a Zed down the Hume near Bankstown at about 9 tonight.

I was through a little earlier tonight around 8.15 ....

 

Lucky, because less then a minute later, I spotted the Bankstown Highway Patrol in pursuit.

The Zed was ahead when it and the 8 went past me.
They were going a little bit too quickly on wet roads if you ask me.
It's been raining in Sydney on and off for the last 24hrs, so it was kinda stupid of these guys.

 

That sounds like more than spirited driving! Naughty, Naughty!

reminds me of the time when I was young and restless. Did a massive burn out down rundle Street in dads new Calais when I was 23. Lo and behold there were blue flashing lights behind me. (Note to self to always look in rear view mirror before being reckless).

Pulled me over:

Cop: This your car
AMG: Nope
Cop: Who's is it?
AMG: My Dad's
Cop: what would he say if he saw you treating his car like that?
AMG: He'd be dissappointed, he taught me to do better burn outs than that!

I got a fine and demerit points!

 

Ah those were the days....
Fast forward to Sydney 2004.

Once your car gets there it will never be the same again, i went to pick up a VN after three months at the pound and the thing was scratched by stones etc on the back end rear tyres flat and all. The d!cks at the pound had being using it for half time entertainment.

Funny that you were being cocky in front of the police.

Talking about spotting ... there is a red Mazda RX-8 locked inside the gate at the Packenham Mazda - the other cars get is one Mazda 6 and plenty of trucks and vans...

I don't think it is a demo car... the Mazda is right at the middle of no where (on the Princes highway) with 110kmh either side of the dealer... talking about burnout you can do one easily and legally there!!!!
