This guy was not shot and tasered by the Police but by the guys who came to look at his car that was up for sale (privately) so the story goes but they decided to steal it instead of buying it they proceded to taser him twice and shot him .

I smell a drug deal gone wrong

Cheers

Tasered, shot and robbed at Bunnings

A man was shot in the leg, tasered in the face and neck and robbed at a Bunnings car park in Sydney's south-west last night, police say.

The 27-year-old victim and a 23-year-old friend arranged to meet with a group of men interested in buying a car at the hardware store car park in Casula about 9.45pm.

One of the three men produced a "shortened rifle" and directed the two onto the ground where they were both assaulted, police said.

The 27-year-old was then tasered on the neck and face before being shot in the leg.

The 23-year-old sustained minor injuries.

Police said the three men then stole the 27-year-old's mobile phone, wallet with cash and his car keys.

The attackers were seen leaving in a dark blue late model Toyota Corolla.

Chief Inspector Sam Courcoulos from Liverpool police said the 23-year-old called a friend, who came to pick the two victims up and take them to hospital before police arrived.

"He had one gun shot wound to his left calf muscle, there was not much blood," he said.

"He's alright, he's been spoken to by our detectives and a formal statement will be obtained by him once he gets out of hospital."

Chief Inspector Courcoulos said it did not appear to be a provoked attack and the weapons used are very uncommon.

"We don't come across [tasers] regularly, it would probably be more prevalent with police tasering people as there's not too many out there."

The 27-year-old was in a stable condition at Liverpool Hospital.

He told police he did not know his alleged attackers, acting Inspector Matt Newtown said.

Police said the alleged attackers were of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance.

"It's being treated as an armed robbery at this stage, as the victim has gone to hospital and supplied basic details [about what happened]," he said.

The Bunnings carpark where the robbery occurred is located in a large retail centre at The Crossroads, Casula.

Despite late-night shopping last night, there were no shoppers at the time of the incident, acting Inspector Newtown said.

A staff member at Bunnings said the store closed at 9pm last night - 45 minutes before the robbery - and no staff members had seen or heard anything suspicious.

Stun guns are sold online overseas by vendors such as the Taser company, which sells its Taser C2 model for $US349.99 ($434).

It is illegal to import them into Australia.

Last year, the Australian Customs Service seized several thousand hand-held shock devices, including one consignment of 100 stun-guns.

Tasers were used in at least five robberies last year.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Car for sale??!! At 9.45pm in a Bunnings carpark?! What bullshit.

I'd say it's drug related too.

He owed them money and they collected what they could and gave him a warning about what would happen to him if he can't find the rest.
