I think it is very slim....

since the picture above is a right hand drive and the ebay link you have is a left hand drive

Good try though. So we know that they are prone to be "flooded" more than one way

Man, sorry to see that. I even feel bad for the comment I'm about to make. But here it goes.

Everybody keeps talking about how crummy the electrical is on the 8, but from the photo, it's pretty clear that it works great.

Again, sorry for your loss and all that comes with water like that.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Amazing photo, great composition and ligthing. Sad subject though.

Was it just your garage that flooded or is your whole house a single level? I hope the ins co takes good care of you. Best of luck to you.

Did you guys know I entered this photo into the forum photo contest? It has been selected as one of five finalists. You can vote on this thread.
The pic is running a close second at this stage. Vote for it and help oodlum feel better about his loss.

oodlum, if it wins, can I have the RX Tuner subscription??

I knew we were prone to flooding issues, but this is a little different from what I pictured.

I've voted for #5 too - as Tim said, how could that ever be duplicated.

Although #1 and #4 were both pretty cool, we've all seen similar action and 'mood' shots like that. But no-one's ever gonna get the lighting and sheer drama of the water shot again.

Hope he wins.

Last I saw, pic five had made up a deficit of 16 votes and had drawn level with the leader. Keep up the good work.........

If "flooding" and "RX-8" were not so synonymous, I would have voted for Taka getting some air! Awesome photo, and I am quite envious.

But at least I know when a thread is crossed LOL!

Cheers,
Hymee.

hehehe, forget about hook line and sinker - I think you just snavelled the rod, reel and baitbox.

I'll bait up a bit smaller next time.

D'oh, I got a little confused. Of course pic #1 is not you, but rather the "stig on the stick" Silly Hymee.

BTW - Pic one shows more air :p and is my 2'nd favourite.

Cheers,
Hymee.

The poll is now closed.

#1 took it out with 110. Close race between #4 and #5 but #5 just got edged out of second with 96 plays 98.

The poll was not closed....it was shut down. Do yourself a favour, and read the whole thread from post 48 onwards. Makes for very interesting reading.......and a very long night for Gomez. Still haven't been to bed.
