Does anyone in OZ know much about this option being offered by Racing Beat in US for US Spec cars?

It is still unknown if the map can be rewritten after flash upgrade right.

That is what I heard after the Mazda recall flash. RE Amemiya have this service in Japan and recall those customer and restore their map for free.

 

My understanding is that they are purely changing the AFR maps. Nothing else about software in the PCM is changed. As a result the Mazda flashing machine does not recognise the changed maps, just whether the flash on the machine is newer than the one on the car or not. If they happen to reflash the PCM then the RB maps are just over written. RB say that you can send your PCM back to them for a reflash of their maps at 50% of the cost.

It will not work in Australia.

The PCM in the Euro/Australian model is different from US/Japan.

Damn. I wish I am computer minded.

 

I'd save my money and perhaps see that workshop to do an FI conversion.
