I phoned Sydney Ports to find out when the Golden Fan (the container ship with the first delivery of NSW RX-8s) is due to arrive in Sydney. They put me in touch with the shipping agent who manage that ship. The shipping agent confirmed that the Golden Fan is due to dock at Glebe Island on Thursday 24th July.

I have been banking on Mazda holding back delivery of the pre-ordered vehicles to their owners until the official launch on August 1st. But based upon what some of our Victorian friends have posted on other threads (delivery on 28th July), maybe Mazda won't make us wait until August 1st. Wouldn't that be great !!

As per my post "Sat in my RX8 - Sydney", some of the cars are at the dealers now... and they are expected to be released on July 29. :D :D
