RS4 v M3 CS

I posted this because both of these cars are on my wish list of next vehicles. The M3 was a real choice, the RS4 is a little pricey.

After seeing this I might try to stretech the finances. I knew the RS4 was good...but ........

the video does all the talking.

I LOVE the RS4, it is nigh on unbeatable on the track in its stock form (in my uneducated opinion) but at $164K starting price I will never own one :-(

And yes...long live the Yellow!

M3 got my vote. Screw the Audi 4WD it is awful - at least in the pass they are.

I don't think the Stig has driven the CS around the track yet?

Judging by what I've read, I think Audi have worked out their past steering and handling issues with this model. And I don't think it'll be that much more expensive than the new V8 M3. Good to see the M3 getting some hot competition at long last.

And Taka, surely YOU would know if the Stig has driven the CS?

Hey Rev...do you know something that we don't...I thought the new M3 was a V8 and the M6 was the V10.....

I can't belive they only gave the Audi a 7 for the drift. while it wasn't that neat it had impressive angle on the drift.

love the big 8 pot brakes on the audi to.

The second drift he got a nine (9). He held it fairly smooth...but I have to say 90 degree drift is insane.

Sorry - my bad. Must have been thinking of the M5/6 when I typed that . Of course it's a V8 in the new M3.

Next thing you know I'll be suggesting the M1 has a V12.

I think if they wanted sideways action with a AWD vehicle, they should have enlisted the services of a top rally driver. It did look like Tiff was overcorrecting. When rally cars do slides they always try to keep the wheels straight so they can power down at the same time.
Or they could have also tried it in Finland or something.

As they were both professional track drivers, I would image they would find it difficult, no surprise there.
