Does anyone know how to remove the stupid air filterin the 8

 

What's stupid about it?

 

Umm - You remove the airbox and MAF tube from memory. I recall doing it with Wildcard.

I was searching this and found the Aldehyde air filter... what is that?

 

i tried getting it off the other day. I only got was as far as clipping the cap off and unsrewing the tube clamp but i couldn't get the cap off without tearing the tube

i mean air intake filter not the air filter for the air vents

 

This can be done in five seconds, no clamps, no screwdrivers....

With the engine and battery covers off, grab the front edge of the filter boxand push STRAIGHT back. The corrugated tube will just compress, and the whole thing will be moved out of it's grommets. Easy now to open it like a clam and access the filter.
