OT: Melbourne is F-F-F-Freezing Cold!!!

Melbourne is freezing this morning, it was definately under 1 degree last night, and it's still only 2.2C here!

Take a hot water bottle with you to work people!

yeah it was freezing here today as well in Texas -- high of 95F and thats just a start it'll be 110F here in a few weeks.

Yes I can tell you that it was -2 at my place last night and it was cold enough that my wife even thought to warm her car up ! miracles will never cease!

car has an ambient temperature guage. Those temps include windchill, etc. Does the car gauge even show negative temps?

OH PUHLEASE!!

In the winter here we get down to -40°C. not including windchill effect. With windchill we can hit -60°C.

Getting temps like -1 in the winter is sun tanning weather!

Almost. We see temps around 35 - 37C fairly often in the summer.

Hmm ... you have it worse than us, but at least you get snow!!!

It's rather soon for us to get this cold, it usually happens in July.

Yeah, but in most of .au, it's that temp in the bedroom as well as outside. Insulation is a new invention :/
