'Bout the dipstick, I tried it once when I was checking the oil at night and there wasn't enough light under the bonnet. WHAOOO! I lost a lotta SWEAT man! Took me more than 2-3 mins.!!!
Well, if you guys should ever meet up and wanna have some fun, I suggest a 'Dipstick in the Dark' contest! Find out who's the 'Dipstick Master'!!!

Sorry, Kall's still got the undisputed Dipstick award for her story about the oil cap!!
As for doing it in the dark (
), keep a little penlight in the glovebox - it works wonders when looking for that little hole.
I just read what I typed - I think it best I shut up now.
:D

Am I still winning?? my 710 cap story - glad to amuse you guys. Wasnt funny at the time, I was very very angry and I had a very red sore hand. Lucky I didnt break a nail!! This was at night time aswell, and I had my dad holding the torch for me while I was pourin the oil in. Of course I do not have a funnel either, but dont worry I didnt make a mess
I did however also almost poke my dads eye out with the dipstick by holdin it up so i could see in the light :o
What would you guys have to laugh at if I wasnt here
Got another story about the time I was putting on the strakes on my car.... But I think we'll leave it at that.....

Sco, I aim to give you all a laugh, after all Caio himself stated this is a fun forum :p and I seem to even amuse my mates here with my stories, whenever I try do somethin to the car they r like, tell us wat did u do.. they have a laugh, its all good fun, hey im learning arent i?? I should get awards for being a chick and not hassaling men to do things for me!! *MISS INDEPENDENT* thank u very much!
Well as for the strakes... put it this way, took me a very long time to figure out that those screws behind the wheel pop out when u slightly turn em... i was sittin there getting greasy hands for a long time (probably spent longer tryin to undo them screws and cracking it at the damn screw driver than I did at the 710 situation). When it magically popped out, I'm like hey.. this is too simple. haha. Was truely one of those "Kodak" moments of achievement. :D
I remembered something else... my front rotary crest is held on by only 1 tap screw. Broke the other 1 until I figured out how the damn things worked
hasnt fallen off yet so I assume 1 tap screw and the adhesive tape seem to be strong enuff
