Angry Oil prices is too high

The petrol prices then skyrocketed.

It is constantly over 102.9 cents unleaded, 110 cents Ultimate.

The Comsec explained (on Local ABC radio) today that the Mexico (Central America) region reduced their production by 20% due to recent strings of hurricane. After Russia reduced their production coz they are just plain lazy!~!

But I think Bush is guilty on this. Creating a tension at the Middle East.
Oil price is up. His family share goes up. He is richer. I am poorer

Bastard!@ F*^(*ing Bush

All ords are doing great so I am earning extra bits but hey I am still not happy

Next thing is increase pressure on inflation and the milk is dearer, a porno DVD is dearer and Hymee grill is dearer

It is a conspiracy.

Awwwww, you guys back home, don't how lucky you are.

Fuel over here normally costs between 79.9p (A$1.96) a litre and 85.9p (A$2.11) a litre, for normal ULP. BP Ultimate and Shell Optimax is about 5-6p dearer (so can be nearly 90p a litre). Of that only 20-25p of this actually goes to the fuel companies, then I think there is probably someone else to blame.

I also remember when the last gulf war ('91) was on, the price of petrol in Australia almost topped A$1 and most of the older petrol stations were worried as they only had the capability of charging 99.9 cents. So they must have updated the pumps, since then.

Anyway, the govenment, in Oz (in the US and over here), could do a lot more to help motorists out, but so could the oil producting nations.

We shouldn't put it all down to governments decision to go to war in Iraq. Maybe, the absurdly rich oil men (I wouldn't classify Bush as absurdly rich, even though he absurdly powerful) should help out the normal person in the street, by keeping the price of oil down to a reasonable level, by increasing production in unaffecetd areas.

Oh thats right.... THEY DON'T NEED TO WORRY ABOUT MONEY. :p

You mean Bush personally caused China to buy vast amounts of oil causing the prices to go up?

There is only so much oil that can be pumped out per day. If there is more demand for it, the prices will naturally rise. Oil is a commodity.

Try reading this thread, I already said a lot about Halliburton:

We would blame the world for this. And OPEC is laughing and saying that it should be around $27 a barrel but they have done NOTHING!

The Aus government could reduce tax but will they?! The petrol are the cheapest without tax in Australia (I think it is about 50c/L only).

I use about 20L of fuel for commuting everyday. - a large sum to pay.

Hopefully the condition change in Mexico and Russia and it will get better. The market think the oil price will drop though. But they said most thing that did not come true anyway :o

I will keep my speed down to reduce fuel consumption I guess. I am driving my V6 Camry to work and if I do 100 only it will be about 8L/100km but if I do 110 then it would be about 9L/100km.

Hei guys its all a conspiracy in a large scale. You think the US goes to war using their own money?? NOOOO they buy the crude oils right before the war at a low price and then keep the stock after the war let the prices goes up and they sell the crude oil bit by bit to cover the cost of the war.

Taka how about considering so called PUBLIC TRANSPORT!!!!!!. heheheheheheh!!! couldnt insert the smilies for some reason damn.

Try to take a train from Berwick to Traralgon --- silly

If I were in Melbourne CBD I won't whinge that much, I just jump on my road bike

AMG - the market is volatile with the oil stock. Yes Santos are doing well in the last 2 months and yes I have money on it. But the petrol price increase is an absolute and the oil stock is not - it is too volatile and I am having an heart attack watching it. So I made gain and pulled out. I am a wimp. I know :p

I went to Shell to fill up with Optimax and they told me that there wasn't any, everyone has run out of Optimax.

Is this only in Melbourne?

Spare a thought for the poor RX8 owners in the NT guys. BP Ultimate is the only 98 Octane fuel available in Darwin, you can only get it from 3 servo's and it costs $1.27 a litre!!

I also own a motorbike, so that's getting a fair bit of use at the momet!

South Australia?? I am not sure... they produce the largest amount of gas ... so i think at least they are founded by a South Australian :p

Isn't Collingwood's 4 in a row a bit outdated now? After all it was in the VFL not the AFL, and if you want to count state records set by clubs now in the AFL then doesn't Port Adelaide take that record too?

Didn't I read somewhere that they had won 6 in a row in the SAFL??

I've enjoyed the Lions footie a lot over the past 3 years, but wasn't too impressed by their antics in this year's final.

When it comes to footy, we Victorians have long memories. My favorite football moment was the Tiges beating C********** by a record 81 pts in the 1980 GF.

If you don't barrack for the bastards, you hate 'em. I have no idea what Port did in the SANFL, and frankly my dear, I don't give a damn!

Gomez :D
