News, Hymee caught spying in U.S.

International spy who is known the world over simply as "Hymee" is nabed at Axialflow Engineering sneeking around. Charges may be filed. The law just missed catching him prior to boarding an international flight out of LAX.

Pictures tell story but I can't get them posted. Are you out there Gomez? If you can I'll E mail some shots to you. I need them posted on the Axialflow thread also.
I'll e mail them anyway to save time.

Richard

The real reason why you cant post the picks is that Hymees head is too big for your camera :D swoolen with all the information he got from spying on your axialflow supercharger :D

I heard he was last seen at the airport with what looked like a Dogs tail outside one of his suitcases , hes a real bagman :p

cheers
michael

Well no, he was wearing red if I remember right. Someone wake up Gomez, he has the pictures.

You know what? Hymee stole so much stuff here that he had to buy a giant suitcase to haul it all back in. The case was so heavy that the little wheels were cambered in. (No ****, not a joke) He pulled the D rings off another bag and had to Tyrap the strap back on. ALL TRUE!! I supplied the Tyraps, so I know. :D

Here are most of the pics. The most embarrassing shot I have saved and will be used by me for the purposes of blackmail when Hymee lands back on our shores :D . These pics show Richards supercharger on his mobile dyno, you can see Hymee skulking around in the background with a camera.....

Richard, I'll post these in the S/C thread too.

Cheers,
Gomez.

Truth is that if there were more light in the office you could really see Hymee sitting in there with a camera.

How does just running a supercharger without an engine work with a mobile dyno... Shouldn't there be an RX-8 or some other engine there to show the power improvement??? Otherwise all you should get is lots of air???

Great way to convince your wife/gf to let you fork out $$$$ for a charger, tell her it's just a souped up hairdryer :D

The test rig is to get the charactoristics of the compressor. Then to match them to an engine. Just having a compressor does not mean it will function very well on your engine. They are all air pumps and the flows much be matched to get the results you want. This explains why some people get better performance from various blowers. This holds true most espesially for turbos.

In order to prove the efficiency of the blower you must record all these things and use them in various equations. Then I can tell you my blower will flow X number of CFM at X psi with a certain temp rise. And of course at what speed.

Wouldn't want to fly in an airplane that didn't have a zillion hours of bench testing on the engines would you?

And yes, getting a lot of air is the goal.

Damn dog must have had one hell of a night, all he's done is sleep since he got home. Doesn't even get up for food.

Well yes, I had to pick up the tab. I could have had damn good night out with $217. Hell I could have even taken Hymee for an all he can drink night.
(or couldn't I?)

Yes, I thought of that as I was writing it. That's why the comment in brackets.
I put no limit on him at lunch and all he had was one JD and three Cokes.
Also I hadn't remembered until he did it again, the man wastes no time talking while eating. He takes his eating very seriously, downing everything ASAP.

I have to take the rest of my meal in a doggie bag. :o

I suspect if he wasn't headed for the airport he could do the job and uphold the Aussie tradition.

If I wasn't driving to LAX later that day, I would have had more. In fact, I was driving us to/from lunch in the Electric Ford Explorer aka Mazda Tribute.

As a matter of fact, the opening story of this post misses one pertinant point. The International Spy was actually disguised as a Qantas baggage handler and was last seen scooting across the terminal apron dressed as a Giraffe.

Cheers,
Hymee.

Ok, Ok, I had a bad day!

Ford Escape. Camel. Thanks for sorting me out.

With a mind like that, you would think I took the wrong suitcase of the carousel or something .

Cheers,
Hymee.
