Guy's had it a year, real car nut, in the advertising game and he and his business partner seem to have a bit of one upmanship going on. He's got a great deal on a 05' M3 and is flipping out of the 8.

Car was spotless despite a 2 year old son and he apologised for not having it detailed! (the tyres were still black from the last time!)

Good service record, spare oil etc...all good indicators, after that it's a crapshoot, new, demo or old.

 

cause i asked nicely, signed up damn early and it's pretty hard to smuggle an 8 in your hand luggage.....something about the smell of rotor oil drives the customs beagles nuts!!

Good call Sir Timbo, the vendor "Mark" (has to be a good omen ) asked me if i knew about the recalls and told me up front about them and that they had been done. Half thinking about getting me "bits" bolted on in Qld, Mr P was most obliging but think i might get the sways, exhaust doine here and get the car freighted. I'd have it next weekend here that way!
