New baby!!!
Well I'm back ... but not in black!
I've joined the Ti set, Revolver and I can argue over which is the evil twin!!
Many thanks to Haddock, Hymee and Ciao who all helped or offered there services in checking out cars, shows the fantastic spirit of people on this forum!!!
Having bought my wife a truck in Melb the weekend before, my daughter and i jumped on a kite to Brisvegas this morning and I bought a bloody imaculate little Ti. We had planned to look at about 5 cars and ended up just looking at one. Was too good to go past! By 9 o'clcok it was all over so we spent the day tooling around the city and southbank, hot but very pleasant.
Either going to pick it up next weekend and have the Hymee Garage do a makeover or trucked down next week. (am o/s all week damn it, or I' be back Monday to pick it up!!!) Can't wait!!!
So definitely on for the March cruise!!!!
Cheers to all

Having done it one I expanded the search for a good used Rx and found a 10/04 with 25k on it in Brissie. So jumped a plane and went and acquired it! Again $5 less than anything similar in Sydney. (there were 4 possibles in Brisbane at realistic prices)
Just means a slightly deeper inspection and reregistering in NSW, the balance of the regos from the other state goes to the "named owner".

Congratulations on the purchases, gentlemen.....
I know a number of people from my neck of the woods who have purchased premium/prestige cars in Brisbane. They just flew up for the inspection/sale then had the car trucked back.
They were able to get better deals up there......must be the heat

Hey Mikey, what's the story with your car? Get the owner history?
I always seek out the reason for sale....try to get a finger on the previous owner(s) and whether they are the type who are "mechanically sympathetic".
