What are y'all up to on the Navigator front? Looks like we got ripped on the Sunroofs and the Navigators.

I'm spoilt because my wife's ML has one and you really get used to using one.

Anyone have a heads up on what the portable ones are like?!

Just use a street directory, it's not that hard.

Some other rules :

If you are lost in side streets or back roads, just follow any other car that looks like it knows where it is going. Zen navigation has a higher than 80% success rate. No cars? Then just follow the next bus route you see.

The big green signs with numbers and arrows on them are really good navigational devices. They let you know such things as how to get to major destinations and airports.

In the country, McDonalds stores tend to be in larger population centres. So if you see a sign saying McDonalds in 30 kays, then that is the nearest major town.

The really big tall buildings tend to either indicate the CBD or that you are nearing a popular beachside destination.

See? It's quite easy to live without a GPS. Except the ones that speak to you in German. They are very entertaining.
