AMG, that's what I thought would happen, and I have always heard what wonderful facilities and hospitality you have over there in the Barossa, so I was looking forward to putting my feet up and someone running the next one in a location like that. But it seems Wakefield has some magic effect, and most people want it to happen there again....all of which presents a bit of a challenge.
However, one thing is for certain...next one we will require the presence of an event dentist...so as soon as we have a date I will be asking you to draw a heavy line through your appointment book, fit the bra, and head off over the Hay Plain Deal???

timbo, I doubt you'll see a dentist from SA at the natmeet next year.
This little fella, with luck, will no longer be a dentist hopefully in the next 6 months. I'm working on a few things at the moment and have made a decision that the bull$hit of being a health care professional just aint worth it.
It'll make a good story come next natmeet.....I'm there!

Mate, all you guys seem to have had a great time, real pity I couldn't make it. Next year I definitely will be there.
Timbo, have you thought of rotating the Nats to different states each year and have members of the host state run the show.....please don't let it be SA, there's not enough of us here and I don't want to do the whole thing.

I vote for another meet at Wakefield and Goulburn. I don't think there is enough room for accom in Winton and it is too expensive elsewhere. Plus NSW is in the middle of all states. It is only logical.
Wakefield = the nats. How nice

The most simple explanation is often not far from the truth. I will loose this 15kg this summer :o

I will also use pedal power next year when I work in the city. Petrol and parking saved will go to the car (and maintain bicycle is much cheaper). I will be clocking over 200km a week. It will be a slim taka next Oct's nats for sure

I was just looking at some Pics from the MX5 club up at Wakefield the weekend after us... Nasty
They had a Sydney verses Melbourne track day and boy did it rain. They were calling their cars victor mowers as they spent more time cutting the in/out field than on the black stuff. They ended up having to call it a day after a Boxster that was in their group lost it on the main straight and smashed into the wall
Makes me realise just how very lucky we were with the weather!

Ouch!!
We were VERY lucky - it rained al the way down from QLD, it was fine on the day and then it rained the rest of the time... Number 8 thing with a double digit of cars (44) I am sure was a huge Feng Shui contributor to our luck at the event... 55 cars next time to keep the luck - October seems to normally be wet there...
Any videos from the MX-5 day.... Was the Boxster driven by a NZ member who refused to bring their car over and instead decided to use their sister's Boxster???

My CD with the official Nats pics arrived this morning.
Idea for next year. How about we get a film crew. Then we could all buy DVDs to pay for their time.

We would all have to have body doubles.... We would have to audition for our own parts... There is no way that they will let real people be in the film..... Taka would be played by Jackie Chan for example...
A film crew may not be the best way...
