Just picked up July's Motor with RX8 vs 147GTA vs R32. The 8 wins quite conclusively ( excerpts posted on the Rx8 Club Media forum). There's also a positive review of Rotormaster's turbo RX8 -relatively modest power gains but 55% more torque at 5500 rpm!


...anyone around here remember what "torque" actually means anyway?? I believe I may have forgotten already.... :D :D

 

torque is the ability to turn the wheels. Hence prime movers and trains have huge torque but comparatively low power levels.

 

I think NickG was joking about the low levels of torque that our engines have.......
