I can't quite picture them 8a8y 8.

Are the plates "rx.08" or "irx.08i" or some other combination?

Also, what colour/size are they? I could be interested.

if they are personalised plates, then you cant "sell" it.

the personalised plates can only be transferred to another owner by sale of a car or order directly from RTA or transfer to someone with same surname.

the best way to do it would be buy a shitbox for $100, put the plates (with the green slip & rego of course ) on and sell it to someone interested, then the new owner can transfer it onto his car or any car within the family (ie. same surname)

Tempting, but I'll pass.

Those annual fees for personalised plates are such a rip-off! Is NSW the only state that has them? I don't think there are annual fees in Qld...?

so it must be the personalised ones.. ie. (letters and numbers combo style ones). so you must got them before the annual fee came in. not sure if it will be the case when it is transferred.
