Live and Learn

I just packed a new Muffler to send of to an enthusiastic forum member 8A8Y 8...

It is hard to know how much to protect these things, but it seems the more the better. There is foam wrap, and bubble wrap!

I also had an idea about a logo, and maybe some laser cut stickers that I might send out to all the faithful Hymee customers...

What do ya all reckon?

Cheers,
Hymee.

Love the logo -- use both, depending on background.

Am going to contract you for my Christmas wrapping, too :D :D

It is mandrel bent all the way from the cat to the mufflers.

The internals of the mufflers are also mandrel bent.

Cheers,
Hymee.

Nice looking Hymee. I would vote for the white on black letter logo.

Note to threadjackers:

If you feel remorseful and want to delete, just "edit" your post, check "delete" and then click "delete now" near the top of the page. If yours is the first post in the thread, it will delete the entire thread...

Cheers,
Hymee.

PS - I removed them myself :p

I think the thread became badly hijacked (and is at risk of happening again) so Hymee exercised his moderatorial powers and deleted the offending threads.

IMHO, very great care must be taken when wielding such power.

OK - Someone posted a bunch of stuff related to Hymen's, Virgins, etc.

Someone else posted a reply.

Then the original Hymen poster felt remorseful (not from any thing I said or did) and he deleted his own post (I didn't delete it, I was happy to let it go). So the second poster posted again to say WTF - now it is gone, and his post looked silly. And I said well why don't delete them to clean the thread up a bit. And 2nd poster said "how to?" so I removed the posts that looked silly in the context of the edited thread, and left an instruction on the "how to".

Simple really. The joys of modding

Cheers,
Hymee.

To pricer01,

He He...I saw the post from the Yellow West which I thought was a pi55er...on a par with earlier quality post's from the same dude.....

Then a shy Yellow guy from just south of Hymee, posts a witty reply, only to find that Westy has had second thoughts!!

Particularly Humourous, really!

Gomez.

Whoops! Apologies all round….

I deleted the original ‘vanishing’ post (which was a light hearted joke about Hymee’s stickers and his general promotion of his products).

Perhaps there is some delay in the figures reported on the forum. When I posted it showed 107 views for the thread. A few minutes later - after deciding that maybe some forum readers might not find it funny - I reloaded the page and checked the views. I was still showing 107 views so I deleted it as nobody appeared to have read the thread since I posted it.

Maybe the page got reloaded from my cache and hadn’t refreshed, or maybe there is just a delay in reporting some elements of the system. But it wasn’t my intention to cause a problem, and no replies were showing (if there had been I wouldn’t have deleted). Sorry about that.

At the risk of being accused of highjacking the thread again (hey lighten up guys, the thread is acting as a promo for Hymee's admirable products, and we are only extending its moment in the sun here...) - here's what I posted. Just another bit of schoolboy humour nonsense that's not so very different from much else on the this section of the forum.

If Hymee didn't mind a bit of tongue in cheek fun being poked, then hopefully no one else will.

Looks great! Clearly, another ‘Breakthrough’ product from the House of Hymee.

Perhaps Hymee and associated backers and collaborators could be known collectively as The Hy-Men?

This would allow for such eye-catching stickers as:

“CAUTION! This car is fitted with Hymen Breakthrough High Performance Equipment…”

(After all, the field for RX8 after-market performance gear IS currently virgin territory).

Just think of the market penetration you could achieve with such a snappy slogan. I’m sure that Michael (L&L) would cheerfully provide a test-bed for the concept.
