I, too, lust for one of these. But a word of warning: if you feel at all cramped in the 8's driving position, you'll really feel tight in this. Not for anyone >5'10"

Long Comments 2002 Spirit R RX7. One of only 1500 Spirit R models built as limited models to finish the RX7 production off. Beautiful innocent blue paint with red and black leather interior with red stitching. Being a Spirit R model it has a lot of exclusive factory features that are not on other RX7's, such as huge cross drilled brakes with red brake calipers, 17inch aluminum BBS wheels, metal braided brake lines, Bilstien gas suspension, unique dials with spirit R emblem, Spirit R build plate numbered out of 1500, Spirit R badges on side, twin airbags, 6 disc in dash cd player, soft coat surface for console. This is the ultimate RX7 as it is the most powerful and exclusive version with everything you could want, and all done in factory by Mazda.

NZ$54k for a Type-B is expected pricing for its KM.
If you are serious about it, then pay no more than NZ$40k as even at that price it will add to AU$60k with importation, duties, compliance & rego.
With 7400km, I bet it drives like new.........

I may investigate further, thanks guys.
Have the prospect of being here a further year which would make importation back to Aus easier and cheaper. If that doesn't pan out then it would probably be too expensive.
(Wife would probably shoot me anyway since we still have an 56' MG sitting around in Melb. But I'm itchy for another project!)
