Hi, ive had my second rx8 for 2 weeks now and am having some issues with the sound system. dunno what my friend did on the weekend but now there is no sound at all coming from the speakers. I have a feeling its got to do with the Sony Ericsson HCB700 bluetooth headset i have installed. some kind of mute function on these that i cant disable..

i can still make calls using the bluetooth and the sound comes from the speakers fine, but as i hang up it does not auto go back to the music..no idea how to fix this, any have a similar problem or can point me in the right direction..

I am assuming you are using the factory Bluetooth? If so is there a manual with it?

 

im not sure what you mean by factory bluetooth?

it is a sony ericsson bluetooth kit..

 

Factory bluetooth - optional Bluetooth kit supplied by Mazda for the RX8 (usually fitted by Mazda dealers)

Whoever wired it up for you, get them to re-wire it cause its scrooged.

Or take it to a pro and let them fix it up (strathfield car rad, charge 100ish or so?)
