AU I have got a new RX-8... office chair

A new RX-8… office chair

I took the delivery of my new RX-8 office chair. How cool is that? Stephen & Eric from UPanel Ringwood made this for me.

The seat is nearly fully functional. The back rest can move up and down and the seat can go limited forward, backward, up and down. Only the lumber adjustment is not wired. I will be game to hot up the remaining wires to see if the lumber support can be adjusted. But I will be risking an explosion to the air bag. .

I'm wondering how long it is before you look at those dinky castor wheels and think..."hmmm, maybe Enkei do some office chair alloys...."

man, i had the same thing planned ever since i read
http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Desk-C...rom-a-Car-Seat

but i see you were more ambitious than me and went with the power model. I was thinking red/black manual with heat for myself... Just haven't gotten around to picking up a spare.

This is the seat that come out of my car, as I have a replacing Bride bucket seat.

The back was broken as some of you may know. The clip came off the back support of the seat and that has been repair (after a year sitting in my mechanics work shop).

This is an extra chair for me. I don't have to buy one for my home office now.

Yes a foot stool and Logitech G25 will go up to my desk. Think of a 27" monitor with my desktop and perheps a PS3.
