whydo you want a manual? If its to check if it tells you not to premix then fair enough but I cant imagine it saying anythig one way or another. If its to see if you can do the change over yourself or check it yourself, then I personally wouldnt recommend it as you need to take apart the fuel tank.
Give Simon at ProMaz (www.promaz.com.au) a call. When I spoke to him about another member talking $500 to do the change he said he could do better with a better pump than the OEM one.

Bah, I've done plenty of other things myself ... playing with petrol pumps & stuff is easy.
Just the smell of petrol stays with you for a few days ... kind of annoying but nothing a liberal amount of cologne won't cover up And it doesn't smell any where near as bad as gear oil! The smell of that stuff makes me want to barf!

Its not the doing that worries me as I happily do my own pads, gutting and cleaning my engine bay and next oil change I will be doing myself, its more playing with fuel tanks!
Just remember that the $500 is for an installed replacement. The pump itself is $300 odd dolars (I think).

As for cost, fuel pump is $367. The price of getting it replaced including labour from the service department is $500. It would've been cheaper to get the sock filter replaced, however, the whole fuel pump unit has to be replaced. Mazda did not make a sock filter for the RX8's fuel pump.
My advice, bite the bullet and just pay $500.

Totally agree with you auzoom with fuel tank vapour going kaboom!. AS you have mentioned, you can muck around with everything else, BUT not the fuel tank or anything to do with handling raw fuel. Too risky, leave that to the service dudes/dudettes.

nice one astro. I am not about to burn myself.
Cromax, nice pics. I am sure I will not be happy at all with DC if I were A Wurz (it was Wurz, right? in the BMW)

I ♥ Drifting!!!
iTrader: (6)
Normal driving
Shift around 4K sometimes 5K, drive safely
In the back twisty roads (I'm always their lol) Shift around 6K 1st gear, redline or between 8-9K all the gears I get up to accordingly, still drive safely just fast as hell through some crazy corners lol
Keep DSC on most of the time, unless I just wanna have some fun with the rubber...
