Help, locating dealers and deciding exaust.

Hello, I thinks turbo charging is bit early for me. Maybe at the end of this year.. when there is more products out on the market.

I heard re amemiya exaust sounds minty and good with rx8?

I can not locate dealer in Australia..in NSW..

If any one know can you please tell me???

i've searched... hks and k&n and racing beat dealers around..like under 30min drive..

Also.. does anyone know where i can listen to the sound clip of re amemiya exaust on rx8 and hks Legamax Exhaust on 8?

Or if you have any other good exaust for 8 with reasonable price.. ( about 1000~1400 ) can you please tell me??

Thank you!

Just remember that if import, and the order is > 1000AUD that you must add +10% Duty +10% GST so $2500AUD landed will be $2500 + 250 = 2750 + 275 = $3025

Hymee exhaust

I have just had my Hymee catback installed. Very happy with the result. Its a great product and your supporting an Aussie manufacturer.

Why does everyone import their exhausts?

It'd be far more economical to go to an exhaust shop who has a good reputation and getting reputable mufflers fitted to a mandrel system.

It'd work out to $800 for mufflers & tips, and probably $200 for the rest ... that's a grand total for those who can't add ... and the mufflers will be completely stainless steel, no bs fibre that wears out after a couple of years.

From personal preference, I don't like the sound of the hymee exhaust. That is just my opinion though, I'm sure some people like it.

Either of those options are supporting australian jobs though ... and after all, as a consumer, you have the right to choose where your dollar goes ... so choose wisely

Umm ... it's an exhaust dude ... some pipes, some steel wool or glass fibre all welded together.

its more than just some pipes, steel wool/glass fibre and weld.
you need to make a jig, determine the size/materials of the pipe(s), calculate the bends, length of the total pipe(s) and pick a muffler that has a "right" size and makes the sound you like....etc. thats why the "bigger/well know/retupable" companies are charging big money because of the time/effort/money involved in the R&D.
its all about trial and error when you are talking "custom made" items.

Ye, I was bit interest in that! .. but with the loved one.. i would like to purchase something brand new.. haha don't you think so? even it costs extra.. you would like something good for your partner right? check this out!

http://www.japanparts.com/images/Ima...base=1&no=3358

What a show off welding!

http://www.re-amemiya.co.jp/sound/sound_rx_8.html for sounds with rx8 and re - exaust. ( ignore all the jap.. i can't read them as well.. just download everyclip...well..i did that. )

like them? if price is reasonable, i might go for it. delay turbo bit later. Preferable sound.

Thanks for having my post in mind.

missy has been wanting to change her existing exhaust for a long time... and changing the tips were first of her moves.

Meltdown

Did someone call? Does someone really want to see what can happen experimenting with unproven systems?
