Missy K's last communicatation was on June 10, when on the RX8club.com site she said, "Mine pops all the time, its a rotary ffs"

Has anyone seen or heard from her? Does she still have her RX8? She seems to have vanished off the planet.

Unless this is solved soon enough, we might have to reopen the investigation as another 'cold case'...

she's a nice lady i would say coz i use to talk to her on MSN too in 2006 and then i realize shes not active anymore.. then i figure out the story from auzoom from his avatar 'MissyK. Gone... not dead' like taka said,shes not banned but withdrawn herself..but guys the good news,she's still out there with her lovely 8

From what I could tell she seemed to be getting upset about some of the responses she was getting and just decided she was over the forum thing for the time being. I think she wanted to concentrate on work and life in general, which is fair enough. Last I heard she still had her 8.

 

Are you saying David now that we don't have a life by hanging out here haha.

Theres a lot of tongue in cheek on this forum and for a very good reason too - its a good place to let off some different thoughts with some of the everyday hassles we face in our lives. And you're right on another thing. The golden days of trying to score with a girl on this forum (let alone Kall) are just about over.

Time is a good healer, and the reason why I think she will be back are as follows...

1. We know RX8s back to front - collectively we have about 10,000 years of RX8 experience
2. We have what she wants and she won't get it anywhere else - attention
3. Our US cousins still think they can score on second base......

You are not wrong there.

You all have to remember, there are generation gaps here. From the baby boomers to the generation Y.

Dave and I are gen X right ... I am certainly very Gen X (after reading all about them in the newspaper).

 

Trev, I don't think so.

The main reason Kall left this forum and later on ozrenesis, was because she felt she was doing a lot for the community, yet it was largely unappreciated.

Hence, her reactions to certain remarks in recent times were sometimes considered over reactions, but this forum turned into something that she wasn't enjoying anymore and thus, she decided to leave.

In any case, with both of us being pretty early in our careers, we don't have as much time to waste trawling forums anymore, the uni years are finally over.

In reply to your points:
1. It's good that there is some knowledge on this forum in relation to RX8's, but it's only a matter of time until she gets a new car. We're counting down months now.
2. She gets more than enough attention from her friends and family
3. They can think it, but they'll never make it to first.

Nate - thanks for your honesty, I appreciate where you're both coming from. There comes a time in our lives when we move on and it sounds like you guys have it in sight.

It took me a while to work out the banter on the forum might sound personal but it really isn't. Theres not one person on this forum who can honestly say they wern't teased, subject to a bit of sarcasm or received the odd barb or two. The trick is to not to bite, and the instigators will always come unstuck when they try to pull on someone who will stand up to them or give it back hard!

Tell Kall before she pulls the plug on her RX8 to get back on to the forum to say her goodbyes...and to tell the XDEEDUBBX, MazdaManiac etc they never had a chance!!!!
