Thanks, Tim and Lock, I still don't feel a day over 55.
I'm still reading, just not posting.
In fact I shall be in both your regions immenently: driving the 8 up to Brissie in about one hour and styaying 2 nights at Kangaroo Point : are you listening Hymee? (Daughter 1 has an interview tomorrow for acceptance into the post-grad medicine school at UQ.)

Then Saturday I am driving Patrol ute + cartrailer to Melbourne. I have bought an unregistered 1977 Lancia Beta convertible, which I will restore for above daughter: if she is accepted in Brisbane it would be a lovely car for the climate.(The BM 3.0 csi Timbo knows about would then pass to daughter 2 who hopes to be at uni next year.)

Well, good luck to you all. Hmmm, I'd find it difficult not to use "Lancia Beta" and "money pit" in the same sentence, but then I'm not a big fan of Italian cars, apart from Ferrari
