Guess who is missing in this forum

Guess one of the regular in the Australian forum is very quiet in the last few days.

I have checked the member list for his activity... he has been delisted

Who...

The dirty old man Lock & Load.

Why did he disappear? Has he lost the battle in the court against his driving charges....

Hymee what is he up to? Ciao.. Dave you know?

?????

Taka :p

I can't ban anyone. The actual fact is that I don't have that power. Therefore, I didn't ban him. So please don't tell un-truths.

One of the super moderators, however, did ban him. Not sure wich one. I think a few of them had their finger on the trigger, waiting for the right moment.

Cheers,
Mark.

I'm sorry if you don't like to put (waste) fuel in your car, and enjoy it at it's best. I used a full tank for the day, and it was great fun.

I drove for nearly an hour to get to the meeting point, so I don't really think it was out of the way for Gold Coast people. No pies in the pub for me. I liked the rump steak and veges, actually. I drove a long way to get there, so I would hardly call it local.

As for your continued personal critisims of good people here, you have earned a ban from the forum to cool your heels for a while.

Cheers,
Hymee.

from the above post, I thought u banned him too....

How many posts does he have?? 3500 odd? He would have set a record being banned with that sort of post count. I can't recall anyone with a higher post count than that falling foul of the hierarchy.....

Shame, Shame, Shame :p .

I make no comment on when or whether L&L should return. That's up to the Supermoderators or whatever you call them. Obviously, they would probably be influenced by messages of support for L&L but that doesn't mean we should be having a go at Hymee.

I must say I also assumed from Hymee's post in that thread that he had taken the step to ban L&L. However, he has explained what happened and as Kall has said, his wording was neutral.

I have no reason to doubt Hymee's good intentions or his word on this and nor, I suspect, does anyone else. He gives a lot to this forum (as does L&L) and both deserve our respect.

So let's support the ref and let the judiciary decide what sort of suspension L&L should cop. After all, this thing only exists because of the efforts of the moderators and administrators and bagging them for making the odd tough decision in order to enforce some decent behaviour is unfair in my view.

are we all making something out of nothing here??
reminds me of that Aero bar commercial... it's the bubbles of nothing that really make it something :p

I just assumed that Hymee banned him cos I put the "banned" + Hymee (moderator) = Hymee banned equation together... my bad ... oops..... sorry..

The facts of the matter are this...

There are 5 documented cases of Lock being giving offial warnings in the "Moderators" forum "Warned and Banned" thread. None are from me.

Lock & Load, 11/11/03, trolling/personal attacks
Lock & Load, 2/2/04, personal attacks
Lock & Load, 3/28/04, personal attacks
Lock & Load, 3/28/04, personal attacks
Lock & Load, 11/22/04, racial slurs

These are all before the events of last week, and I didn't even know about that until this morning when I found that thread.

Last week he minor, but still offensive personal comment on Timbo, calling him "****".

I suggested he remove the post. He didn't

I PM'ed him about it. He said he would edit it if I edited my "personal attack about the size of the photo". Oh dear. Hardly personal.

Then he insulted a group of us who were goin on the cruise by posting that we were pedantic and sarcastic. This info was passed on the the other moderators, and, well, the rest is history. Like I said, I can't actually ban anyone. Lock provided the ammo, and he loaded the breach.

Thread closed.
