design - 8/10 - some of the 'extras' like strakes, accents, sill covers, alloy fuel cap, etc should be standard and no cost to remove if you don't want them.

power - 7/10 - more low down grunt standard and the option of a turbo/supercharged model would be nice.

exterior quality - 7/10 - the Hymee grille should be standard (with an appropriate licence fee paid to Hymee of course )

interior quality - 9/10 - some bits a little plasticky but much better than it's competition in overall design - e.g. 350Z.

fuel consumption - 7/10 - reasonable given the type of motor and the fact it's a car to be driven hard.

practicallity - 10/10 - nothing else like it.

value for money - 8/10 - who wouldn't want 10K off the price but that's dreaming.

what lead u in to buying one? - Wanted a sports car that could be reliably driven daily and would also fit the children.

would u buy another rotary in the future? - only if it had other features I liked

overall - 8/10 - very happy so far.

design - 8.5 (stupid cupholders and gearbox heat)
power - 7 (could be better)
exterior quality - 9 (its got the sexy lines)
interior quality - 6 (cheap plastic panels everywhere.... maybe i have been spoiled by euro cars)
fuel consumption - 7 (im sure it'd get better )
practicallity - 8 (near perfect physical size and it has 2 extra doors/seating areas)
value for money - 7 (depends when you buy it..... its alot cheaper now)
what lead u in to buying one? - was the newest car on the market then
would u buy another rotary in the future? - yes, if it has more power in the standard form (hint, hint FI)
overall - 8

Doh...<hits forehead>. Good idea, Mazda should have released them at $85K for the Cloth Pack, and $91K for the Leather. Sunroof should've been a $3000 option. Strakes should've been $1500 a set.

They'd be fairly exclusive then.....

design - 9 Looks good and turns heads - the rear doors are great..
power - 7 Too old to be the racer, but I do feel that the old Mazda 6 was faster 0-60Km/Hr
exterior quality - 8
interior quality - 8
fuel consumption - 8 (Hey! It is not supposed to be a Pirus..)
practicallity - 5 (no tow bar or roof racks!!!!!!!! Not happy..)
value for money - 8 (We looked at BMW and AUDI - believe me this has MUCH more than those cars for the price!)
what lead u in to buying one? - Change of life - Was threatened with a terry towelling hat by the Finance Director and Miss 5 if we did not replace the "boring" Mazda 6 wagon... Sigh!
would u buy another rotary in the future? - Maybe
overall - 8 (11 from the Finance Director)

Design - 8 too many bolts in the car and my noisy seat (it is still a fat alarm )
Power - 6 unless I get the SLR I will not give a 10
Exterior quality - 9, 1 point for the rear plastic diffuser
Interior quality - 8, 2 point for noisy seat.
Fuel consumption - 6
Practicality - 8, 2 points for the bigger boot.
Value for money - 6
What led you to buy one? Handling, 4 seater, no other car in this price range will have all I want.
Would you buy another rotary in the future? ehhhhhh... I will probably go for the Porsches next
Overall - 7/10 for track car, 9/10 for the Carrera S though. For a daily drive and family car for a trackie 10/10. :p

design - 9 -- it's all been said -- unique looking car; I still get lots of comments
power - 10 -- absolutely adequate for all I do in the car
exterior quality - 8 -- I discover more plastic each time I look closely
interior quality - 9 -- very comfortable; good ergonomics .... could have done with better communications connectivity and computing
fuel consumption - 8 -- as I expected for a car with this performance (besides, I've owned a Range Rover :o )
practicallity - 9 ...perfect for me at my stage
value for money - 9 ...excellent when compared to Lexus, BMWs, Audis etc
what lead u in to buying one? - design/performance/price
would u buy another rotary in the future? - yes BUT depends on the extent to which the 8's develop 'rice' reputation, which is starting to appear
overall - 9 -- a car that defined 2003/2004 (but it won't stay that way forever)
