FS: JDM RX-8 Mats x 4

For Sale:

One set of Genuine Mazda JDM RX-8 floor mats, front and rear.

These are the uber quality mats that are no longer available here in Australia. They retailed for well over $200 when they were sold here.

These mats have a very deep hard wearing loop pile, much better than the eBay specials. The drivers side mat has a screw in aluminium insert as pictured.

Black in colour with titanium overlocking.

Brand spanking new. Includes Japanese instructions and fitting bracket.

$160AUD
but will accept more, pick up only, inner eastern Melbourne.

As usual, morons and spoonheads need not apply.

PM or post your interest here.

Cheers,

Gomez.

Very slick, you can definately see the quality. Unfortunately I got shafted by one of those mats on ebay, and will put it a bit more bluntly - they're ****. You get what you pay for.

Good luck with the sale.

Since you have the instructions can you tell me where and how it is suggested to mount the insert mat holder?

As soon as I saw the thread title, I somehow knew Trev would reopen the old wound.

I would have bought them 'Mez but you would have had to break your golden rule and mail them to me, so that's probably best avoided...

Yeah, but "Trev" purchased the el-cheapo Mazda Australia made mats that come standard on all Aussie RX-8's.

I can vouch for the Uber quality of these JDM mats having purchased a set myself from ole Phills for $200.

Curious to know why they are for sale since they are obviously head & shoulders above the Aussie ones........??

Dave Gomez purchased a series 8 ..........RX7 , so he most likely has no need for these .

Cheers

No-one wants to pay for the time taken to track down a box, quote on postage, package the item, travel to Post Office, wait in queue for service etc....

I'm at least halfway to my grave, so the great unwashed need to pay if I'm going to spend time on them....

Dave, I bought an RZ. Pics are on here somewhere.

Agreed. Hang on, who are you calling the great unwashed?!

I've seen the RZ - very nice it is too. Or are you talking to the other Dave?...

Thanks Gomez.

Love the mat - it worth more now since the yen drops to 55Yen. Lucky my stuff from just gone pass the custom and I brought them at 88Yen. No more mod until next year now

Very nice.

My only criticism is that the rear end is a little fussy - a charge levelled at the RX8 by some people too. The rest of the car more than makes up for this minor drawback though...

A subjective view Trev. Different eyes see the same thing differently sometimes...

Still an awesome car though. I want one in my garage!
