First service..
Hi guys
I've currently got around 270 on the clock, but will be doing an 800km round trip on the weekend. As this is the first car I've actually owned I've got an amazingly retarded question: will going over 1000km before the 1000km service affect my warranty in any way?
Cheers
(oh btw, anything I should be aware of on a long trip? Will I need to top up the oil after the first leg/tank of fuel?)

That's something you need to ask your dealer. If you're in the ballpark of 1000 then I expect you won't have a problem.
I'd be surprised if it's drunk much oil to warrant a top up... but it's probabably good to check it every couple of fills until you get a feel for consumption. If you haven't checked it since you picked it up then I'd check it now, just to make sure your iniital level is correct.
