Factory Immobiliser bypass kit?

Hi all,

Does anybody know of a kit that will allow me to bypass the factory immobiliser so i can remote start my car?

My tracking system can allow me to remote start the car from my phone, but i need to get around the immobiliser first.

Thanks.
Rob.

The chip is in the key......I do recall guys in the States getting around this somehow by taping the valet key under the plastic shroud of the steering column near the inductive loop for the ignition switch......do a search on valet keys....

iv done a search and got some decent information, but does anyone know if our cars are the same as in the US. I mean do we definatly have a chip in our keys, and is the internal wiring the same?

Yeah...that stuff is the same. Other stuff is different....we've got no Nav...they have no ground illumination lights in the mirrors...we have no tyre pressure monitoring system etc. But the standard immobiliser is the same. They have programmed Australian special keys to work in US spec cars.....

its illegal to remote start a manual car.... im sure your alarm installer has told you that...
anyway, the chip/code is built into the key, unless the key is in, then there's no you you can start the car

If anybody has any information on how to bypass the immobilisers on our cars PLEASE don't post it on a public forum like this - for fairly obvious reasons!

OK, from what iv now been able to find out i need a clutch bypass kit, does anyone know anything about a Clutch Bypass kit?

If hook my car up for remote start there is a safety switch which will not alow the car to start if it is in gear.

Im not going to use this when i park out in public because im usually not away from my car long enough for it to cool down in the first place, i want this for the cold mornings so i dont have to walk up the back yard and freeze....yes im lazy.
