Driver Dynamics @ Sandown 10th May pictures..
Well it was quite a good day with excellent weather around 16 to 18 degrees. The weather was good as the sun stay back and only few drops of rain here and there.
Overall DD did an excellent job in session control, a lot of track time for everyone.. to the point where ppl cant be bother going out.. lol
subway lunch provided, many drinks / fluid available.. great..
This is my first time @ Sandown, my observation comparing to Winton is Sandown needs a lot more brakes.. u stay on the brake at a much higher speed longer compare to Winton. I am running just Endless super street up front and still OEM at rear, at Winton.. few hot laps I would not see brake fade, but at Sandown.. just 2-3 hot laps.. u can feel brakes as not as responsive and spongy I would describe it as. Also Sandown has two long straights where you will reach 180km+. Specially T1 at around 180+ braking to around 80 to 90 km apex speed (thats the speed I manage on street tyres, apparently those guys on semi they said 100 + ) so yes.. beside coil overs.. a set of sways would be nice to .. Anyway.. I will stop my BS.. see photo below
Alcon front 6 4 rear monoblock anyone ?
Look at those CE28 with those GTR offset.. guessing +22 .. my goodness..
luv those rims andrew
getting ready to run away..
still running..
weather is quite nice.. not sunny not raining..
My peak temperature of the day, 105 water nearly 120 oil. Keep mind I only do 2-3 hot laps.. then rest like 2 laps.. ambient temperature was around 18 degrees. I need Mazdaspeed oil cooler and a fan control module ...

Had a productive day with new PB (1:27:4 twice) and a number of people questioning what was different with my car!
Imagine my smile when this guy thought there was something wrong with his GTR because he couldn't pass me on the straights like he normally does with RX8's !! A VISA moment: Priceless
