Talking

more pics...

carpeted and semi-fitted....got to say I am very impressed! kudos to those who originally thought up the position for this box. Its easy to forget there was previously a space in there

some final stats regarding size...27L / 0.95 cu.f...

seems like actually getting the sub & amp will prove to be the headache hard to find good help these days

now...will the golf bag still fit??

drew, why would you put it on the drivers side?

with the spare, if I ever get rid of the spare then there will be even more room plus, isnt there an ADR requrement to have a spare, at least in NSW...and before I hear about the sealant solution for punctures...that is a substitute but doesnt that render the tyre un-fixable?

Damn..it's a shame u don't need a 12" sub.

I have a 12" JL W6v2 in near mint condition that I'm trying to unload from my previous car's setup =(

It's too much hassle changing the RX-8 system..and expensive too if you want it done right. Most people go for the wire tap option which I'm not really a fan of.

Plus I'm a little poor at the moment too

I think DrewMan got confused with my impending turbo mount solution

Seriously though, velcro and the weight of the sub should be enough. I drove from Alexandria back home and the box didnt move a bit so that has to count for something as well.

I have seen a pic where one of the guys in the US has installed a little raised handle type thing into his boot to stop his sub box from sliding around. I'll try and find the post...
