I for one am getting jack of the BS that goes on around here. I was always taught to not say anything unless it was constructive (yes that includes constructive critisism).
While I dont necessarily agree with her approach, MissyK made valid points.
If you dont like someting then fine tell them you dont like it, but FFS no need to bag them and go on about it.

Just think about it if someone says that your car is cheap. or you mods is cheap??? Think about it before you say anything to the others. please.
If u just say you don't like it or not you type. thats fine.
But if you say someone else's mod's is cheap............ that just isn't nice at all.
And me or MissyK aren't trying to say that because we import the kit from japan or we don't don't use copy's bodykit then we are better. we never say that look at Us car. all the kit from japan. cost so much and all that. so we not trying to say that we are better.
some people might think bodykit you damage it everyday out of drive way. its just depend on what people wants really. but why attack on others people's mods??

I agree with Rev, let it be. They are cars FFS, if you are so insecure that your measure of happiness is what others think of your car then I pity you. Everyone has their own style to their car and I hope they mod it the way they do so they are happy with it, but stop trying to please everyone.
If someone makes a joke (which I think Kunz did, notice the lol after his post, I do not think his jib was serious), just get over it, I appreciate that MissyK and Elite have spent some serious money on their cars to get a certain type of look, but hey each to their own....you notice that when people make a comment about the 20inch blig wheels I have that I don't jump down their throat.
Laugh it off people, life is not that serious, and cars are certainly not worth a fight over, no matter how trivial.
So whilst the gear **** is not everyone's cup of tea, and whilst yes I have also seen knock off products that are very cheap I am sure the quality is not as good.
As to genuine parts etc, I am a firm believer in the looks and quality of a product if you can find a comparable product that is a copy then great, if you insist on the originals then great also. People buy for different reasons, I could not justify a genuine kit over and aftermarket based on price, however I an not in car shows like Missy K and Elite.

i'm not sure about the rx8s but in the 350s i think it might be to hold the leather trim around the gear **** up, because once u replace the stock **** with the titanium one, there's a gap between the bottom of the gearknob and the leather trim

RXXX8 do you have this fitted? so it's just like the stock screw on right? no need for tightening the gaps with PVC tubing... the reason why I ask is becoz I have the PVC tube like that inside my current gear **** to compensate for the width of the hole inside the ****....
