My 2 cents....

If you fail the (laughable) NSW practical test more than 3 times, should you be banned from driving for life? If not 3 times then how about the people who fail it well into the double digits?

Everytime I hear a story about someone who finally passed after their 50th attempt makes me shudder......

Which begs another question - what do you do about people who have been banned for life but still insist on driving (usually unregistered, uninsured cars)?

So who here is for speed cameras then?

Fight the power. Stand up to the MAN. Let your voices be heard by someone that can make a difference.

I actually think signposted speed cameras near schools, busy intersections and known black spots can do some good. Forces dumber people to slow down to a sensible speed (decent drivers drive to the conditions and obey the limit anyway near such areas). Otherwise, I'd happily blow them all up.
