i doubt it.. schumacher retired from F1 in 2006 .. the new stig came onto top gear in 2002. with schumachers F1 duties its unlikely he could balance both.

also not everyone is allowed to drive the Ferrari FXX and schumacher is one of the few who can, which is why im guessing he was on the show

and plus clarkson suggests at the end of the show that schumacher is not the stig!

I thought it was pretty common knowledge that Ben Collins was The Stig - he was named during the investigation into Richard Hammond's crash a few years ago.

As if having Schumacher reveal himself as The Stig was anything but a stunt....

 

I keep telling you there is more than one Stig ... and many many more cousins all over the world.

Me = Chinese Stig only a copy ... hehe

I always assumed they used more than one stig depending on which race driver was available when filming occurred, hence the helmet, etc
