buying hvac controls
Hi there,
Anyone selling HVAC adapter, that works with auto climate control in Melbourne? Or know any vendors in Melbourne so that I can buy 1 ASAP.
It's summer and i need aircon bad lolz

I'm assuming that you have replaced the std head unit? can you salvage them from the old trim panel. last time I had mine off it looked like you could possibly remove the controls and then plug them into the harness.

Yeah I've replaced it with a metra kit and i found out it doesnt work afterwards...but this was done during the cold climate, never bothered fixing it.
I don't think its possible taking it from the OEM stereo...the unit looks like its 1 whole. I've also heard some people extend the wires and leave the OEM somewhere else in the car. Sounds abit too inconvenient and messy for my likings lol.
Does anyone know a cheap store I could buy it from? I got qouted pretty high from audio express...the ******* are trying to charge me 700.
