Nope... only the best colours came out for a cruise that day :p

The colour co-ordination on jambo's second last shot when we stopped for lunch wasn't even planned

I didn't log the data.. I used it as a bit of a test for the in-car prototype I've posted pictures of previously.

Taka

Decided to have our own drive day here on the Goldcoast , did not feel like eating Pies :p at the local pub BUT GOING A- LA CART :p , no driving in the rain and wasting my fuel however the best part was not having to put up with the pedantic sarcastic behaviour of some of the Brisbane members .

cheers

No dodgy deals :p ... just discussion about how cold it was and how a hot meal would be nice.

Cold! You know nothing. It's gonna snow down here, so the BOM says (searches for threads on chains)

Glad to hear it was a good cruise

I'm sorry if you don't like to put (waste) fuel in your car, and enjoy it at it's best. I used a full tank for the day, and it was great fun.

I drove for nearly an hour to get to the meeting point, so I don't really think it was out of the way for Gold Coast people. No pies in the pub for me. I liked the rump steak and veges, actually. I drove a long way to get there, so I would hardly call it local.

As for your continued personal critisims of good people here, you have earned a ban from the forum to cool your heels for a while.

Cheers,
Hymee.

In our own defence I'd have to say that everyone on the day was great. It was great chatting over lunch and on the radio... and apart from a little bit of light hearted stirring (me getting "fined" for not washing my car, Hymee's navigation skills in Toowoomba and probably a bunch of other stuff I've forgotten)... all very well behaved. It appeared to me to be an enjoyable day out for everyone - it seemed like the kids were having a good time too. This was no different to any previous cruise... I can say the same for Haddock, kiwimeat, rx88er, wallerc and everyone else who's come along previously and couldn't make it, including L&L (although IIRC the last time he came along he wasn't feeling too well).

Probably none of my business but I don't think any defence is necessary sco.

I found the subject post offensive, nasty and unnecessary. As a forum member I believe Hymee's response was the right one.

We all indulge in some light hearted banter both on the forum and in person - God knows I'm guilty of the odd dig in the ribs as you would all know - but I hope all of us know which side of the line to stay on and are brought up short if we forget ourselves as Hymee has done.

My 2 cents worth.

I just wanted to make it clear that I had a good time, enjoyed the company of _everyone_ along at the cruise and previous cruises... including L&L. It appeared to me that everyone else enjoyed themselves too -- at this last cruise and on previous cruises.

I can't understand where that comment came from, but I'm sorry and disappointed that L&L feels that way. I suspect there is something else really underlying that outburst. Irrespective though, personal attacks should not be allowed and the one on timbo (who has been nothing but a great contributor to the forum) was uncalled for as well as the collective branding of us all.

Ha Ha !! ROFLMAO! What a pedantic bunch we are ! Masked faces and all !
We know how much the colour YELLOW means to L&L . I think he's a bit emotional and takes things personally . Don't condem a passionate man :o

I'm sure we all know he means well and has given so much to this forum
It's these sometimes goofy and silly comments that add a breath of fresh air to , what is sometimes a sterile and pedantic and too often **** forum

Lets all take chill pills ...... My shout :D

Stay beautiful

Ciao

^^^^^^ ROFLMAO. Good one. I meant to post that earlier, but I had other more "pressing" tasks I had locked into my todo list.

Fair call Ciao but you can be a bit goofy or silly without being nasty and I reckon Lock is clever enough to know the difference.

For the record, I enjoy Lock's posts and agree he's always contributing good stuff - that's why it's a shame that he felt the need to have a big go at a few people.

Typical female response!!! :p :D :D

Accountant: "Well, I've completed your tax return and there's good news - you will receive a $400 refund."

Client: "That's great. So what do I owe you?"

Accountant: "$400."

:D :D

Just to even things up Kall:

Lawyer: "My fees to represent you in this important case will be $15,426.37, inclusive of GST and all disbursements."

Client: "But that's exactly what I have in the bank!!"

Lawyer: "Well son of a gun, what do you know."

:D :D

Sorry, bad jokes will cease now.
