Best Wishes for Smoothy and Family
Hi all,
This morning I recieved a phone call from regular forumer rx8-smooth!, or Smoothy as we affectionately call him. Some of you may have wondered why he has been quite of late.
Some of us here have met his lovely wife, Jackie. She has been diagnosed with breast cancer and was operated on last week. She is getting prepared for further treatment.
I would like to offer my sympathy to Smoothy, Jackie and Family, and wish her a speedy recovery. Jackie is a strong willed woman, and I know she will be doing everything she can and not let it beat her.
Please feel free to offer your kind thoughts and wishes here.
Cheers,
Hymee.

Geez, it's hard to find the right words...
We have several family friends who have been hit by this, and it's a heck of a blow. But I'm happy to say that they have all recovered and adjusted.
Our best hopes and wishes for Jackie's recovery.
Chris and family.

My best wishes, too and to offer you the strength of hope that we have had friends who have been through this, and have made a full recovery. It's traumatic, but keep that positive thought to the fore

All the best to jackie and Smoothy, my best wishes and thoughts to you.
The next 5-10 years will provide some major inroads into cancer treatments with some fantastic companies getting a real understanding of this dreaded scurge

Smoothy, best of luck to your wife, family and yourself.
My Mum has been diagnosed this year with pancreatic cancer - so I can emphasise with your situation.
Kind of puts all our excitement over a mere car in perspective, doesn't it?

Thanks Guys,
Your thoughts are appreciated. It is unbelievable how your life can turn upside down in the space of a week. Right now cars just do not seem very important!
I'm sure I'll be back on the forum a bit more before long.
Once again thanks guys.
