Best looking bodykit for RX8
#26
Having looked at most of the RX8 bodykit available on the Japan market, I think Mazdaspeed is the best looking one. Does anybody know is there imitation kit available in Australia? If so, where can get hold of one and how much is it?

Agree. No - if there is one I would have done it by now.
I am actually waiting Mazda to bring it out so it becomes an accessory not a modification in the AAMI's eye

I know these guys Ezz..... steer clear unless you're willing to spend a s***load on getting the kit to fit.
Bought a Veilside replica kit off them a few years ago and the thing was pretty warped.
The fibreglass was so thick in some areas that I had to cut the surrounding area off and re-fibreglass it just so I could get it to "fit" onto the car.

Some as in the west. My mate spent 6 months fitting the 3000GT kit into his MR2. Cost him doubled to be reshaped and painted again. Nothing like the original I guess.

If so, that's a bloody hard kit to fit right even when it was original TRD.

hehe the wide body kit and whole body respray. I never see the rice boy from him spending $12000 on a $12000 worth 10 year old MR2 Turbo.... he is still throwing money to it.

Ezzy, the place you are talking about is a nightmare, stay away from them. My cousin bought a VeilSide MR2 kit from them, one of the section of the rear bar has no fibreglass at all and was broken into half when it arrived Melb. He rang him up to exchange and they refused to do so. Very bad service

A 9 second van...drag coefficient of 100 and no downforce. This is anything but rice. No wing, no diffusers, no nothing, just a plain old stainless box.
