"Thanks for all your support guys." he says with a touch of irony in his voice. I wasn't joking about the Prozac.

I've had a **** couple of days at work, one of my mates died on Sunday leaving a wife and 2 kids under 7 years of age and on top of it all, Dave thinks I'm a fat bastard.

I might just go home and drown my sorrows with a nice cold slab of VB.

Thanks Tim

However I don't think he took the elevator to the top floor. If anything he probably caught the express straight to the basement.

Last time I spoke to him about a week ago he wanted to run a book on where he would end up. Given some of the stuff we got up to growing up, upstairs was a long shot.

We found out he had the big "C" a month ago on his sons third birthday. He was given a month to live and during that time we did a lot of reminiscing. When he died on Sunday it was exactly a month since the diagnosis. He collpased and died in the back yard and his kids found him.

Sorry guys. Slightly but I had to get it off my chest.

Now I'm going home for those beers.

Cheers

Geez, Jorma...that's a shock. Really hard when one of your mates dies...always...but especially when the cause of death was not living dangerously! And in this case, not much time...think I'll go and have a beer...here's to 'im

Oh man, that's terrible. So sorry to hear that. Sure hope something is being done to ensure his family is looked after. My thoughts are with you.

And I was only kidding - you know that!

This makes me feel ill, sorry to hear about your mate, having young kids of my own and knowing others that have lost the battle with the big C, it really hits home the impact that this has.

I hope you and his family pull through, our thoughts go out to you guys.

Thanks Guys

I appreciate your best wishes.

As far as you are concerned revolver, I know you were only mucking around (as usual). No offence taken.

Cheers

An extra 16.5kg does not hurt.

I carry an instructor (prob 60kg) around the track and could not feel it. Prob make the car less lob sided
