I think it looks nice, and I suspect it would breathe a bit, making it less likely to get sweat stains (
) on light coloured leather if it was all leather instead.

Suede is leather that has had the **** kicked out of it, well had the surface abraded. Makes it more susceptable to absorbtion. With good finishing leather approached waterproof. Suede can be treated with silicon or similar but still remains more likely to absorb.

I prefer alcantara. It breaths and grips your backside on the seat without the feeling of friction burn leather gives.
