I'm in Hamilton .
Got the ems from rotormaster in Aussie , was about nz$1600 - what ems are you using with the turbo?
Midpipe was made up locally - nothing to it really , just got to make sure you use stainless wool & not fibreglass in the resonator (too hot for fibreglass)
You need to see scanalyser working - very cool software ...

had an awesome day at puke. today - the 8 punches way above its weight on the track Was having a battle with a skyline turbo & an MR2 but the speed limiter was kicking in 1/2 way down the back straight - gotta get rid of that .......

Developed an oil leak

i thought that limiter would give trouble Brett, i've been meaning to get rid of mine, 180kmh would come up pretty quick on the back straight at pukekohe. HKS make one ive seen them on ebay from time to time. does the scanalyser show oil temp just wondering how it was on the track with just the one oil cooler? By the way i just got the racing beat catback exhaust fitted, sounds real nice! hope you sort out your oil leek ok

Have not found the leak yet - its not a big one . Just hope its not the front eshaft seal

There were heaps of cars there . Only one other rotary ,a batmobile, which could not have been running well because I creamed him on the back straight . Not too many of them were passing me
Was great to be able to brake so late into the hairpin (later than just about anything else there) - gotta love those rx8 brakes.

Don't know about the oil temps as did not have scanalyser with me . Come to think of it - I don't think scanalyser can moniter that anyway.

I noticed the gearshifting got harder after several laps . Actually graunched into 4th a few times which has never happened to me before. Thinking it could be oil temp (i'm running Redline) or maybe the clutch fluid getting hot & causing the clutch to not disengauge properly .

Exhaust sound great - would like to hear that .
