Hey Mates! I arrived on the 4th of Jun and will be here until the 7th of August. I've seen about 9 RX8's so far. 2 in Brisbane and a couple on the Bruce Hwy. The rest have been in Rockhampton (RockVegas). Just wondering if anyone on here is in that area of Queensland. I'm staying at the Travelodge in Rockhampton and probably will be back at the Medina when I return to Brisbane in August. If you are having a meet in the area, I would like to attend. I'll cruise in my rental van, lol.

I have been here 8 years and proud to call Australia home now. Still have a place in the states but live here 10 months out of the year.

You should extended your stay, and make your way down to Golburn for the RX8 Nats on August 8th there will be lots of 8's there and you would get to meet almost all the members from the board.

I wish I could stay longer. Unfortunately I have to leave on the 7th of August. If I had the money or a good paying job here, I would definately consider moving here. The people are great and the country is beautiful. Not sure how I'll handle the summer, but the winter has been great.

Haha.. coincidence! I'll be working in Rocky for a few more weeks coming up (leaving tomorrow again actually). Not taking my car however...

Too bad. I would of loved to have seen your car. I'll be here in Rocky for a couple more weeks. I hang out at the Criterion pub sometimes. I'm working at camp rocky in support of the Australian army and US marines.
