Ahhh new plugs

Ahhh new plugs

and my baby is singing like a top now.
Had a little hesitation between 7 and 8k. New NGK Irdium plugs and it is all gone. Smooth as.
Ready for the nats now.

All the cars having the same iridium plugs .... but change it frequently.

How frequently would you recommend? I have a new set of plugs but havn't put them in.I have done 19k km's??

As monte said if you find there is any hesitation at 7-8k rpm. You should check your plug.

2 options: You can either sand clean them, but make sure the gap stay intact.

Or just change them.

Hoist the left front wheel up, take the wheel off and the plugs is highly accessible from there.

120k. 2nd set of replacement plugs. The last lot went in somewhere between 60 & 70k. Finally decided to change the coils and spark leads as well.

Plugs were surprisingly clean (compared to others that I've seen), Leads - Who can tell? The coils were all showing signs of heat stress and arcing to the mounting plate.

The biggest change that I've noticed is smoothness in the way the engine revs and accelerates rather than a performance gain. It's only bee n in a week so I'll get a better feel for any change on the way up to the NATS.

when i bought my car it came w extra ngk plugs in the glove u guys think theyre gaped already? if not i gotta get them i have 46 thous.. miles on my car and i think its time to change them lol
