Actually, maybe I won't cede it just yet. I reckon to really qualify for this award you have to come out and declare what happened, and take the pledge: I will never turn DSC off again 
Seriously, as best as I can recall in just over 2 1/2 years, nearly all the incidents involving 8's but excluding other vehicles have been where owners turned DSC off....so take care
