2005 Aussie Regional forums AWARDS!
Okay ppls....
you must have realised that it is the begining of 2006.... unless you have been living under a huge rock for the past few week....
anyway, here's a bit of exercise for you to participate.
lets give the awards out, do as much as you can, everyone can give the awards out in their OWN post. (keep it small and give them to the aussie members only
)
We can all decide who gets what by end of January
so who will start first? pls give a half decent explaination with the awards you are giving!

- Most Worthy Project/DIY Award
- Most Worthy Post/Quote Award
- Best Discussion/Thread Award
- Postwhore Of The Year
- Most Popular Member

Excellent idea Eric. 
I'll have a crack at some of them (with tongue firmly in cheek, for the sensitive flowers out there):
- Mr. Technical Expert Award - Gomez - always on hand with info and even pictures for those of us who require illustrations. The Hymee/sco team are worthy runnersup for reasons obvious to all.
- Most Worthy Project/DIY Award - Hymee/sco - let's face it, most of us have benefitted from grilles, scanalysers and exhausts. The S/C kit will be icing on the cake if they can get it off the ground for a commercial price.
- Most Worthy Post/Quote Award - this is just too hard - there's been too many, none of them mine I hasten to add.
- Best Discussion/Thread Award - The FI threads/sagas - some vintage displays of human frailty.
- Postwhore Of The Year - Takahashi - the rest of his life is either imaginary or far too undemanding. His wife needs to join a mothers' group (i.e. nagger boot camp) - then he'd be in the kind of trouble the rest of us are usually in.
- Most Popular Member - hmm, popular with me or the rest of the forum? This is tough because you have no idea what others think of certain members. I guess if you think about who would be most missed I'd have to plump for...nah, it's too hard to choose. I love you all (except for the people I can't stand).
- Most Helpful Fellow RX8 Owner - dead heat between Len and Eric - both have gone out of their way to assist me on a number of occasions. Waldo would come a close third here.
- Best Newbie Award - Waldo - his enthusiasm and good humour is infectious and he's been into everything in a big way since he joined.
- Worst Joke Award - Me - just about everything I post. However, some of the stuff Tim Tam comes up with is pretty rank - and always appreciated by moi.
- Most Pointless Project/DIY Award - Me - My RX8 brake light insert lasted for about 6 weeks before it became collateral damage. I'm not going to discuss it okay! Still trying to decide whether I could be bothered to do it again.
- Most Stupid Post/Quote Award - Too hard - there's been too many. However, there's a Queenslander who sticks in the memory.
- Worst Discussion/Thread Award - ditto.
- The My RX8 ***** All Over You Award - damn I could get myself into trouble on this one. Nup, I'm gonna play the diplomat.
- I Love My RX8 to bits, and I Kiss it Everyone Night B4 I goto Sleep Award - Takahashi - has any car ever been so accessorised, analysed and made the focus of one's life? Another podium finish for Waldo here too - have any car panels been washed, polished, waxed, rubbed and fondled so many times?
- Most Dedicated RX8 Owner - Is there any appreciable difference between this category and the last one? Hmm, maybe I'll give this one to Mikey for flying over from NZ just so he could drive a Mini at the RX8 Nats - a sterling effort.
- I Have the Fastest NA RX8 Award - judging by lap times, you'd have to say Rod but I think that's got more to do with him than the car. Let's just say we've ALL got the fastest NA RX8 okay (except for those poor a/t people).
- I Have the Fastest Forced RX8 Award - the biggest pissing contest of all. Well Ciao's out until he can get his tranny fixed. Lap times at Wakefield don't count because none were driven by the same driver (and someone had a race car driver there...). I'm gonna give this to Wildcard because he's the only forum member who had the ***** to sign up to the Hymee prototype.

Dave! resident female! thats all i friggin get! after sharing over a yr of my life between this forum and the .au all i get is resident female!!!! (now do i get the biggest hissy fit - hey that could work................ lol whoz created the most argument on here.. hmmmmm) lol

Really hating to bring this thread back on track, I'd have to nominate Mr T aka Revolver as "Postwhore of the year".
Whilst Taka is clearly the stayer of the field with an average 5.94 posts per day, our darling of DIY tail light.....ie ....Mr T......kicks in since April 05' ....(has it only been that long) with an astonishing.....6.78 posts per day!!
Clearly Taka is the "Poster King" and "Revolver" his lady in waiting or "postwhore".
