Brad,
I have just spoken with my shearing contractor, who will bring along a big enough team to guarantee we "cut' the shed out by Wednesday evening, which means I will be able to rendez-vous with Hymee and L&L on Thursday at Raymond Terrace and escort them thru' Sydney.
I will be staying with friends near Moss Vale.
Do I recall it is a 8am start, that we need a helmet, and that the cost without a cams license is ..? (Gotta be cheaper than going cruisin' with Hymee.)
Very excited about it, Brad.
regards, jack

Jack - I promised you would have your exhaust before then. Well I posted it Friday!
I know there will be a few reri-rotars out there without much exhaust etc, so they will be loud. I just can't wait to here a couple of "stock" RX-8 fly past the pits, then compare that with a couple of RX-8 with their Hymee Exhaust on full song!
Very excited about it 2.
Cheers,
Hymee.

thats awesome Jack!! :D
yep its an 8am start and the cost is $120 plus $30 for your wakefield license. i have organised accomodation for the thurs night which will be about $20 each, its bunk house with 4 beds per room but enough to get a decent night sleep
are you going to pay on the day Jack or do you want to transfer the money before?

That means we'll be in Goulburn for lunch, Hymee.
Not a bad move: throughout my youth the Paragon Cafe was as well-known as any other eating joint in NSW. Very few drove to the snow without occasionally stopping for a growl there.
ADJUST: did you get my PM re payment?

For you, Brisbane-Sydney + 2 to 3 hours. Leaving at 4 means traversing Sydney during their siesta.
At least we'll all be on real time next week.

Hymee
As discussed previously, I travelled to Noosa in January.
My trip back, from Noosa central to the south west sydney suburbs was 11 hours and 9 minutes. To goulburn from my place is around 100 mins (I live in the far south west) These times were done at very legal speeds (109 in 110 zones!!)

Raymond Terrace to Goulburn is 4 hrs but this depends on time of day and route through Sydney.
Choose either the Pac Hwy-Harbour Tunnel-M5 or Pennant Hills Rd-M2-Lane Cove Rd-Homebush Bay Dr-King Georges Rd-M5, and I would recommend the latter if you are transitting Sydney around 4pm or later, as the M5 tunnel near the airport always seems to get slow at that time.
Stick to the speed limit coming into Goulburn. The NSW Police have their training college there; there's nearly always a Hwy Patrol car sitting just out of sight around a corner; and Thursday pm is their favourite time of the week
PS: And for L&L's benefit, last time I got pipped at Goulburn, I asked the pri…, er, officer whether he was picking on red cars. He said no, yellow was the colour he picked on! :p

Hymee, no shortage of helpers here for you.
I have not done the Pac Hwy northern NSW for many years so offer no opinion, however Port Macquarie-northern Syd is about 4 hours.
I'm looking forward to you and L&L ringing me from say Coffs Harbour, as I am 2 1/2 hours from Raymond Terrace. There is a BP that sells your favourite drop at the roundabout just south of the Raymond Terrace bypass: a good meeting spot
jack.
