8a8y 8... I think DrayToys and Hymee get a much better time than you there!

You are right seems to be the reaction time that costs you. Hymee doing a 60' around 2.0something right?

I am no drag star but I love to see Hymee doing it one day

This is a public forum?? I have never been to the drags.

8A8Y 8, good on you. I love seeing people take there cars to right place for what they are made for! Getting into the 14's is cool. You should be able to shave .4 off that time with a perfect launch.

There is an old addage that if you improve your 60' by "X", your ET will improve by 2X. You chould be able to get a 2.0 60' time. You just need to work out how to acheive it (hint - it is all in the launch). Don't worry about your reaction time. It doesn't affect your times at all. It only affects who might get to the line first in a proper race.

So if you drop you 60' by .25, you should be able to drop your ET by 0.5! Then you would be in the low 14's, and that would be impressive. Weight is on your side! Imagine if you got the sports pack without all that extra shitty weight of the Leather Pack!

There is a private members area on www.rx8club.com.au that has some more info.

Cheers,
Hymee.

You should be able to drop .4 of that with a decent launch. Get that 60' down to 2.0 and your there.

Cheers,
Hymee.
