Real life drama!!!!!!

There were deals behind the scene!

When we collected enough money to cover the damage, the job was already done!
Then embedding begins!

Andrew's turn

The draining bit is so interesting

While he is waiting for his stuff to drain!

BBQ TIME!

The BBQ is so good. That display is left alone to be cooled!

Thanks everyone for coming!

yeh, nice to meet you cromax, now we all know who we have been talking to.
Good luck with the house on Monday Missy, hope the puppie likes it!!
I think everything that was covered on Saturday was great. Its still something i would get someone to do for me but it lets me better understand the car.
Maybe we can collate ideas for the next event. What people want to see and do?

Video time!

Rear brake pads
Andrew demos how to change rear brake pads on Kal's RX-8. It is always easier to do it on someone else's car.

Front brake pads

Andrew demo front brake pad change on Kal's car

Coolant fluid and oil changes (gear, diff and engine oils)
Craig has a great demo and explanation to the all oil changes with precaution explained. Iggy and Taka and stand alone cameras used.

Nice work taka.

btw, i mentioned in there that I put 5 litres in to the diff/gearbox...actually its 4 litres (just under but close enough).

I also saw the drain plug on the gearbox for the 1st time in the video and am a little worried. I was running Redline Lightweight shockproof and will never go back. after 1 1/2 months and 2 track days the gearbox felt like poo. I replace gearbox and diff with Royal Purple Max Gear and I think it feels much better.

Also please ignore me starting up the car with the coolant cap off ... very bad of me :-/

Hey, nice to finally meet everybody and put a face to the name/avatar. The videos are great Taka, its just as I remember that day... (funny that). I was also pretty happy with listening to different muffler solutions. I've been hanging to hear a modded 8's exhaust! Now I spend sleepless nights debating my first mod, short-shifter, swaybars or exhaust???

Anyway I digress, thank you again all organisers for a great day!

i reckon go exhaust first, it's something your butt dyno can tell straight away
the stock shifter is already pretty short, and the handling is already great (of course can still be improved with sway bars & strut braces)

Yes, now that you mentioned it, I was looking at a couple of Xforce Varex mufflers. My initial research shows that they each measure 16" long (approxi 406mm) while the distance between center of tips in std exhaust is approxi 1250mm. I'm trying to figure if it will fit?? Anybody know the muffler size of a hymee muffler or something similar for a size indication?

Yeah, well you already know I've been thinking I'd get my nose restraightened after having it broken twice! I don't think it technically comes under elective surgery if it's for managing my allergies though does it?

i was speaking to nate, kall you dont need plastic surgery. Nate did Kall karate chop your nose? is that why it was broken? just get her to pull sum moves on you, i mean karate moves, and it may fix your nose.
