RE-medy water pumps for RX8 in stock
Hi, I tried to order the REmedy Pump & Thermostat online but I got a message stating the items are out of stock. I would like to order the water pump, thermostat, & radiator together. Please let me know when they will be in stock.
Thank you.
Thank you.
To order the parts it is best to call them direct.

I just received my pump and thermostat Wednesday and I'm installing them tomorrow.
Really looking forward to it! Hello cooler temps!
-Sheldon.
I am seriously considering a new pump with a new thermostat. I'm in Chicago so it's not the desert but if it means I have less of a chance of hotspots around the motor which would cause early failure, it'd be worth it to me I think (though convincing the wife to spend another $300 could be tough)... Anyway, I have replaced thermostats on a couple other cars, done coolant on the RX-8 before etc. but never done a water pump. I looked at the workshop manual and I am wishing there was something with a little more detail out there - I don't want any mistakes. Has someone done a DIY yet that I missed? I guess I'd classify myself as an entry level gear head - I haven't come across something I can't do on a car yet, but I certainly haven't attempted any of the bigger things (pulling motors and dropping transmissions etc.). I need advice and tips on if I can do this without too much of a problem as well as tips on what to watch out for (don't forget to do this, definitely don't do this etc)
Any help would be much appreciated...

You should join evolvchicago.org. That is our local Chicago area rotary car club. You can get advice from locals and maybe even find someone to help you out with the water pump install.
I'm actually already a part of evolv - I was on the cruise last weekend in Rockford. (my name there is 97thawk). I want to be confident I won't run into install issues and maybe get some more details on tips, tricks, big do's, and don't before I order. Plus, $300 is still a significant chunk for me right now and I haven't talked to my wife about it so I am still debating a bit because of the price...
I was hesitant too, and the thermo and water pump combo was well worth it. I am an entry level gearhead as well and the water pump is a pretty easy instal, as well as the thermostat. A couple pages back on this thread, someone posted a link to a manual that shows where everything is and how to replace it. It even shows the torque specs of all the bolts as well. You can do it!

Inventory problem
We are out of stock of our RE-medy water pumps and have been for quite a while. I actually have pumps in stock but no impellers (The heart of our pump). About 4 people paid for pumps and are waiting. I've sent out emails and pms to indicate the problem and offer full refunds to anyone dis-satisfied with the wait.
We apologize for the inconvenience and poor service in not alerting members sooner.
I hope that the wait will not be much longer and will keep everyone posted.

I just went to place the order (tax refund showed up!), and then noticed that it was out of stock.
I don't have a problem paying now and waiting for them to come in, but can't do that from the website. Looking to order the thermostat at the same time, but would prefer to have them ship together.
